Current Hair Products and Routine

The Products

Me and my hair don't get on with each other most of the time. It never does what I ask of it and when it does its when I'm having a day in bed :( My hair seems to struggle the most when I am at uni, it does not like Sheffields water at all so finding these products has been hair saving! It is coloured and very long with a very knotty wavy texture to it. These products make- up my current routine, which seems to be working quite well and also enables me to actually get a hair brush through! This is all done on wet hair and then 95% of the time I let it dry naturally or sleep on it wet... slapped wrists all round.

Herbal Essences Shimmering Colour Shampoo

I bought this from Tesco as it was on offer and was the shampoo kit I used to use when I went swimming as a kid (remember 2 in 1's anyone?) so I thought I'd give it a stab. The smell is very interesting and very nice and foams up really well with minimal product and my hair feels very clean afterwards.

Herbal Essences Shimmering Colour Conditioner

This Conditioner feels really nice in the shower, isn't very thick but coats my long hair well with minimal product. Has the same smell as the Shampoo and I can actually smell it once my hair is dry! My hair afterwards feels quite nourished and conditioned. I wouldn't say my hair 'shimmers' after using but hasn't stripped any of the colour from my hair thus far.

The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Detangling Spray For Coloured Hair

When I bought this I was in the market for a detangling spray (obv) and this had good reviews so I thought why not? It has a lovely smell and I can definately tell when I haven't used it as my hair is a bitch to get through! I don't know if this is the best on the market but it works for my hair currently.

L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil All Hair Types

This is a very nice hair oil, I pop two pumps into my hands and work through the mid lengths in wet hair, my ends definately stay in better condtion between cuts with the oil and considering I've had it for about 18 months now only about a quarter down!

Tangle Teezer

Oh the Tangle Teezer, how you have changed my life! I can actually brush my hair now which is a Christmas miracle in itself, and can do it in less than a minute for my whole head! It's a strange handle but persevere and you should see great results!

I hope this post will help some of you with your hair problems like me!

Little Bit About Me

Hi everyone!

Welcome to my blog.
My name is Heather, I'm 21 and slightly obsessed with make-up, beauty and food.
That is quite a cliché in the blogging world but I think I can bring something different to the table! I am currently in the last few weeks of my work placement year from Uni and I am working in the food industry for this. Working with food means super stringent make-up, apparently people don't really like finding make-up in their food, who knows why... I have another blog along side my sister which is a blog about dairy free eating, which can be found here! This blog will be mainly me going on about make-up, showing off my hideously dirty brushes and trying out different bits and bobs to try and combat chronic acne and a tiny bit on food that I can't stop eating! Hope someone, anyone will find this an interesting read!

Thanks for stopping by.

Love, Hev
